1994 Harley Springer Softail Bobber
Billy from Zweibrücken, Germany (located near Kaiserslautern / Ramstein - the largest American Air Base outside the USA) made available these pictures of his 1994 Harley Springer Softail Bobber which he calls "Donna Ann".
Billy gave us the following specifics for his Harley Evo Bobber:
• Engine: S&S parts - 88 cubic inch;
• Exhaust: selfmade Fishtail with Shovelhead parts;
• Crane High 4 single fire ignition;
• S&S flywheel;
• Andrews camshafts;
• S&S oilpump kit;
• Jims pushrods;
Billy: "I polished the manifold for a better gas/air mix. I think I get 75hp now but I don't know for sure.
I use the original Kehin CV Carb. First had an SU Carb but thought that was too dificult to handle. I modified the CV with my own set up (jets, fuel pump, etc.)
I'm on the lookout for a 4 speed transmision with a kickstart from the first EVO series from 1986 till 1990."
"I got trouble with the cops because of my missing front fender! In Germany the law says you got to have one! The thing is that Bobbers go without front fenders! And no silencer! loud and proud!
